Looks: Jin is a young Japanese man with black hair which spikes up in a distinctive pattern. On his left arm, he bears a mark that was branded onto his skin by the Devil. His outfit comprises of a karate gi with some sort of flame design.Jin's gi costume usually consists only of pants, gauntlets and footpads. Strangely, Jin wears his zanpakuto horizontally behind his back across his belt.

History: Following the King of the Iron Fist Tournament 5 Jin ventured for world domination. Along his path Jin met a strange foe, a shinigami. Though the battle was easily won Jin took interest in the shinigami. The shingami was weak, and pleaded for Jin to spare his life, offering to give him his shinigami powers. Thus Jin complied with the offer and took the young shingami's power. However, the transfer forced Jin's "devil gene" to be compressed within his new zanpakuto, giving it a black color and transforming Jin into Devil Jin when released. Thus he refrains from using it too much.
